Visit durations and walking times are planning estimates. Timetables and admission rules come from the linked operators.
Plan your visit
Allow two days. Choose a 2-3 hour water-park or skiing session each day, with time for changing, food and a shorter town walk.
Direct buses serve Druskininkai; there is no passenger train to the town. Walk the centre, use the cable car for Snow Arena when operating, and arrange separate transport to Grūtas Park.
What to see
Aqua Park
Pools and water attractions suit a family session; slide restrictions depend on the attraction. The bathhouse area is 18+. Allow 2-3 hours plus changing. The operator’s FAQ says advance entry reservations are not taken, so buying a package is different from reserving a queue-free arrival.
Official visitor informationSnow Arena
Indoor ski slopes suit skiers and learners willing to book instruction. Rental clothing and equipment cost extra. Allow 2-3 hours plus fitting and changing; a young child or non-skier needs a planned alternative rather than an assumed ski session.
Official visitor informationCable car
The ride connects the Aqua Park area at Vilniaus alėja 13 with the Snow Arena side across the Nemunas. The published crossing takes about 7.5 minutes. Allow 30-45 minutes for a sightseeing return trip with waiting; skiing and water-park tickets are separate.
Official visitor informationČiurlionis House-Museum
Closed for reconstruction, as listed by the museum operator. The family houses introduce Čiurlionis’s life; choose the City Museum or V. K. Jonynas Gallery for an indoor visit.
Official visitor informationGrūtas Park
Removed Soviet monuments, propaganda material and museum displays provide historical context outside town. Much of the visit is outdoors; allow 2-3 hours. It suits visitors interested in twentieth-century history, rather than a spa afternoon.

Choose by age and booking needs
For families, start with the water-attractions area and check the particular slide rules; the 18+ bathhouse is a different choice. For beginner skiing, book a lesson and allow time for rentals. Museums need less preparation. For a spa treatment, reserve the actual appointment and ask the provider about age and suitability; a hotel stay does not automatically include treatment.
Cable-car arrangements
Buy the cable-car journey separately and choose a return ticket if coming back the same way. Leave waiting time before a booked ski lesson. If service is suspended by weather or maintenance, a taxi to Snow Arena avoids making the whole day depend on the crossing.
Grūtas Park transport
Drivers follow the A4 towards Vilnius for about 5 km, then turn at the Grūto parkas sign and follow the signed approach. Without a car, arrange a taxi to Parko Street 49 and agree the return pickup. A rural bus is only useful after confirming the Grūtas stop and the return service with the bus station; it does not replace the park approach with a central-town walk.
Two days, with a rainy-day alternative
Day one: visit the City Museum, eat lunch, then spend the afternoon at Aqua Park; finish with a short central walk. Day two: take the cable car for a booked Snow Arena session, or choose Grūtas Park and a slower evening. Substitute a booked spa appointment for one long activity rather than adding it to both.
In rain, choose pools, skiing or a museum. For limited mobility, use a short town route and taxis, then ask the chosen facility about changing-room access, lifts and assistance. Do not treat spa traditions as proof that a treatment will benefit a particular condition.
